Part-Time Upper School Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic mathematics teacher with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in education for a part-time mathematics position for the 2017-2018 school year. Candidates should have experience in teaching courses from Algebra 1 through AP courses (specifically Statistics). A bachelor's degree in secondary mathematics education (or related field) is required, but Master's Degree is preferred. Part-Time Spanish Teacher

Ursuline Academy's Lower School seeks a part-time Spanish teacher for this school year (Monday - Friday from 7:45-11:30). Candidates will be able to instruct students in grades PreK through 5. Spanish Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)

A Long-Term Substitute Spanish instructor is needed beginning August 21, 2017 thru November, 2017. The applicant must be proficient in teaching all levels including AP and Honors Spanish provided by the regular teacher but may also supplement with their own classroom ideas. We are looking for a dynamic teacher, who has excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to excellence in education.

The teacher is responsible for:

  • Employing a variety of instructional strategies
  • Encouraging students to set and maintain high standards
  • Evaluating student progress continuously using both formative and summative assessments
  • Communicating with parents
  • Maintaining accurate and complete records

Education: BS in Education or related field; Master's Degree preferred;
Certification strongly preferred
