Thank you for your interest in Ursuline Academy. As a school that welcomes diversity, Ursuline Academy admits students without regard to race, color, creed, religion, or national or ethnic origin. All applications will be subject to an $80 non-refundable fee ($75.00 + $5.00 processing fee.) This fee covers the required admission testing as well.

The Admissions Team will confirm when your student will screen/test.

The pieces required for admission include:

  • Application
  • Teacher Recommendations
  • School Transcripts/Standardized Test Scores
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Admission Test/Screening

Please use the information below to determine what you will need to provide on your student’s behalf:

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD:

  • Application: Please submit your completed application and the $80 processing fee. This fee also covers your Admission Screening.
  • Teacher Recommendations:  Two (2) teacher recommendation forms should be submitted to your student’s current school. The Admission Committee may require further recommendations or information in order to create a more complete profile of your student’s experience thus far. The school should send the recommendations directly to Ursuline.
  • School Records Request: A records request form should be submitted to your student’s current school. The school should send the records directly to Ursuline.
  • Copy of Birth Certificate:  All applicants are required to submit a copy of their birth certificate.  Birth certificates may be faxed to (302) 658-4297, emailed to the Admission Office, or mailed to the attention of the Admission Office:

  • Admission Screening:  The screening process for children ages 3 – 5 includes an observation and developmental readiness assessment by our Early Childhood Staff.

  • Admission Testing:  Students entering grades 9 – 12 will complete grade-appropriate assessments in verbal, reading, and math skills using ERB CTP-4 exams. Students entering grade 9 are eligible for academic scholarships based on their performance on the admission test (if taken November 18th/19th).
