Reunion Weekend

You're invited to help us celebrate our alums with graduation years ending in 4 or 9 at the 2024 Reunion Weekend on April 19th and 20th!

Join us on Friday evening for an evening Cocktail Reception in the Fusco Student Life Center. All classes are invited to celebrate our 4s and 9s at Friday's event. Catch up with classmates, shop the Raider Closet, and take a tour of Fusco Hall. On Saturday, enjoy Mass and a Luncheon in the Anna Raskob Auditorium and Laffey McHugh Gymnasium. Take a tour with one of our current students, and we will also take class photos to remember the special occasion.

We will present the Angela M. Boyle ’53 Award for Service to a deserving alumna, in addition to the Alumnae Scholarship to a rising freshman. We will announce the recipient of this year's Angela Boyle '53 Award for Service soon. The Angela Boyle '53 Award for Service is presented to an alumna who demonstrates service to the community and fully represents the Ursuline spirit.

2024 Reunion Weekend

This year’s Alumnae Weekend was a resounding success, bringing together graduates from across the decades for a weekend filled with camaraderie, celebration, and reflection. Hosted from April 19th - 20th, the event was a vibrant showcase of sisterhood.

The weekend kicked off with a warm Welcome Reception in the Fusco Hall Student Life Center. Alumnae reunited over refreshments, with many sharing laughter and stories about their time at Ursuline. The evening was enhanced by a special address from Melissa DiVincenzo '94, who spoke about the exciting developments at our institution and the importance of staying connected.

Our Saturday programming included a beautiful mass led by Rev. Edward Ogden, OSFS and campus tours where Alumnae had the opportunity to revisit old haunts and explore new additions to our campus. Student-led tours highlighted recent improvements and developments, including the 1893 I.D.E.A. Studio and upcoming plans for The Anthony N. Fusco Fitness and Health Center, allowing attendees to see firsthand how their alma mater has evolved.

The celebration continued with a Luncheon in the Gymnasium where we recognized Mary Denney '64, the newest recipient of the Angela Boyle '53 Award for Service. Her family and classmates shared stories and accolades to celebrate her induction into this special group of esteemed alumnae.

As we close the chapter on this year’s Alumnae Weekend, we extend heartfelt thanks to all who helped bring this weekend to life and look forward to continuing our tradition of connection and celebration. ANGELA BOYLE '53 AWARD FOR SERVICE

The Angela Boyle ’53 Award for Service is presented to an alumna who demonstrates service to the community and fully represents the Ursuline spirit. Given annually during the spring Alumnae Weekend luncheon, this award is one of the event’s highlights that is shared with the classmates of the recipient and family and friends alike. Angela Boyle’s history with Ursuline dates back to her graduation in 1953. Post-graduation, Angela was a beloved English teacher at Ursuline for many years before becoming the Assistant Principal. Her devotion to the school continued as she was named the first lay President of Ursuline Academy. After years of continued dedication and service for Ursuline, this award was named as her legacy. Angela remains active in the Ursuline sisterhood from her home in Florida despite the distance.
