Transportation

Ursuline Academy welcomes students from a broad geographic area, including Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland. Parents can take advantage of various transportation options, including bus riding (PA students only), van, and carpooling. In collaboration with Salesianum and Padua, we partner with Kid Ridez, a local company specializing in school transportation for our van transportation. We use twelve and fifteen-passenger vans equipped with wifi and air conditioning to safely transport our students every morning and afternoon. The professional drivers are vetted and trained and provide prompt, reliable, and safe service. We utilize CariinaTM to maintain our digital van rosters, allowing parents to track the van’s location and receive notifications when children board and exit the van.  While there is a cost for transportation, Ursuline subsidizes a portion of the expense to assist in making this service more affordable for our families.  

Students who reside within 10 miles of Ursuline Academy in one of the following seven school districts in Pennsylvania receive free bus transportation to Ursuline via the Pennsylvania School District: Chichester, Garnet Valley, Kennett Square, Penn-Delco, and Unionville-Chadds Ford.  Please contact your local school district for additional information about PA District busing.

If you are interested in taking advantage of our van service, we strongly suggest you sign up as soon as you complete your child’s enrollment. Van seating is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Changes to transportation once you have enrolled must be completed by August 1 to avoid any fees.
