Bio

Bill is the market president for the Delaware and Eastern Shore of Maryland regions for Wilmington Trust Wealth Management. In this role, Bill is responsible for overseeing the delivery of comprehensive wealth management solutions to high net worth individuals and families. Bill’s team serves clients in every state in the country and in multiple countries throughout the world. Bill joined Wilmington Trust in 2004 and has over 25 years of wealth management experience. Prior to his current role, Bill led the MidAtlantic Region for Wilmington Trust and established and led Wilmington Trust’s Greater Washington, D.C. and Central Virginia markets. Bill currently serves on the boards of Wilmington Trust, N.A. and Wilmington Trust Company.

He holds a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, NJ and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. Bill also completed an executive leadership program at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.

In addition to his role on Ursuline’s board, Bill serves on the board of trustees for the Delaware Bankers Association (DBA); as chairman of the board of trustees for the Ministry of Caring; as a board and finance committee member for Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library; on the finance committee of St. Benedict’s Preparatory School in Newark, NJ; and on the investment committees of the Catholic Diocese of Wilmington, DE.

Bill and his wife Maria live in Wilmington, DE. Among their four children are three girls: Madeleine (Class of ’23), Danielle (Class of ’26) and Sarah (Class of ’28).
